Hey everyone, i was trying to get some patches on to my dark messiah, i have 2 problems trying to do it. Number 1 is : The readme is messed up on patch 1.01, so i dont know where to extract the files with winzip. Number 2 is, when i open the installer for patch 1.02 and try to start the installment, it says i dont have the game installed, but i do. Please help me!

Ok , actually both patches have the same problem now, i extracted patch 1.01 to desktop... and i tried to install, it said i dont have the game installed as well, same with patch 1.02, please reply

Surely patches are looking for a properly bought game....

Umm... I bought the game off steam for $20.00, so i "properly" bought it...

If you bought the game trough steam it will update the game automatically so you haven't to patch it manually

Oh? Then that means my random crashes cant be fixed via patches than? That knocks one method of fixing crashes off the board.

As far as I've could see it's always a matter of drivers not properly installed/updated.

The game runs without major issues on a healty PC

Thanks a whole bunch fender! The game is now crash free! Just updated the drivers and now i set the graphic settings to high, and the game rocks, i also beat the game today

Didn't you installed any too fast drivers release, did you?

I installed the drivers update that fixed bugs and glitches with Nvidia and stuff. I played through most of the game with crashing, being patient enough . It was the chapter City Of Flames, that i couldnt get past until i got the driver update, once i did, it went smooth as a knife through warm butter, like Blindnero said
