Well, first off, my game name is Lonewulf, I'm a member of Cerebral Assassins, and I wanted to say a few things. Cerebral Assassins is disorganized group for the moment; just a bunch of people colliding their ideas and heads together. Personally, I'm not really "in the know" as far as the majority of CA, and I had to be informed that we were recruiting by this forum by Braheem. First off, though this group is coming off as elitist, I personally joined it for less serious reasons; mainly for the friends and such. Anyways, I'm not really committed to anything here, but I wanted to make a few comments. If my statements contradict with anyone else's opinion here, it's because I have some different opinions over things... and I'll add that the recruitment post was made here without me not being aware of how this was how we operated.

Personally, I feel that Dylan jumped the gun a bit with this recruitment post, and could have undergone some editing before he officially posted. Further, he did over-emphasize on the "top notch" players, which I personally feel he should not have. But everyone makes mistakes, and I've made more than a few (especially in the game itself), and Dylan is a good enough guy from what I've seen, especially in the game. Braheem is also a good guy, but I do not agree with him calling critiquers here "morons", though I do feel that people focused a bit too much on lagging and skill; your skill should not be based entirely on lag, I agree, but it was a minor point of the initial post.

Carrrick, thank you for your input. I will agree with you that a deragotory word within the rules should be better placed, even though in this case it is merely being used as an example. I personally see why it would be better to remove it entirely. Also, thank you for the grammatical correction of rule 1. I respect your decision if you do not want to join our clan; not all clans are for everyone, and I respect your philosophy when it comes to community. Personally, I am hoping that CA does develop a community with it's Blog and Forums, and also hope that it does not become as "leetish" as it seems to be currently. I do agree that good friends are better than just skilled friends. And yeah, CA is only a few members so far, but as you said CA is new, and not all groups need to be that large.

To everyone, It was once asked if members of Cerebral Assasins were all cocky, when I was playing once. Personally, I do not feel that I am, I just play for the fun (though I do get frustrated at times). If you want to join a group that will appreciate what skill, knowledge, or ability you have, then come to CA, even if it's just for the friends. Even if you do not have exceptional skill and want to become a better player or are willing to take some advice, then I would personally say that you should be accepted. That's my opinion, but I'm not the leader here.

I do admit that this thread went off to a bad start, so along with Cybawulf, I will attempt to revamp what the underlying message in this thread is, despite what it looks like. Yes, CA is a new clan, as is the game, and yes, skill would be something valuable, but it is not required, I would call it tertiary, as far as things go...What this clan really is together for is a "team", and as there is no "i" in team, there is also no "win" (kind of corny). Our clan was made primarily just as a "friend" thing, and despite how things may seem, we are not elitist, just maybe a little excited because this game is very good. What we are looking for is friendliness, potential, consistency (play the game often or less?)and skill will barely be judged. Considering the fact that this game is new and "in the works" of becoming at its prime, expectations will be less for many things, as even we are tired of playing a buggy and laggy game sometimes, we can empathize with you all..

Dylan is perhaps overzealous about this clan, but disregard your first impression, once you get to know us we are a very friendly and outgoing clan. Carrick, I acknowledge your concern, as it has lead to these two posts by Cybawulf and I, and I assure you we are nothing of the sort that you think of. Getting to the point, we haven't even been in a tournament yet, which goes to show how we are not in this for winning or glory or any nonsense like that, but for the fun. This clan is definitely not "HC" - hardcore - so I would not worry about not meeting up to "standards", we are all new to this game, as it hasn't been out for too long. Don't get me wrong, we are not lowering expectations because of this game's "youth", but simply because it is a game in the first place.. A source of entertainment.

Tadaeusas (yeah, I doubt I'll keep spelling *that* name correctly), thank you for the compliment. I feel that my teammates are a bit impulsive, partly because they are excited to have and be in a clan. Further, most of their posts seem more light-hearted than not, honestly.

Carrrick, I believe that the "me" in team comment wasn't truly a comment as far as how this group operates insomuch as it was an attempt at humor, failed or not. But yes, you are correct, there is disagreement within our ranks. As I mentioned in my post earlier, there is a colliding of heads and ideas, and each of us have our own ideas with how this clan should be. Which is partly why I wished members here showed more restraint before actively advertising on forums.

Hm, you think we could benefit from a charter or mission statement or somesuch? At the least, then we would be able to set down some laws. I think that we'd have to discuss that.

I know you think we are "Impulsive" and things of that stature. We do talk a lot on msn and you are sometimes on and helpful. Other times however you are not. So at the time I have been sticking with Braheem a bit. Also Mesinja, I havent disincluded you in what ever way. But why ask for help if you said so your self... You may not be willing. I am not trying to argue just stating my concern

I do want help with recruting. I do want to make the best choices. I do need ideas etc etc. I need everyones help, Not just from CA memebers, but from all others

What do people want in a Clan???? As some clans are developed and Clan seekers may not like what they offer

So why not get intersted in a clan WHO wants what EVERYONE wants?

well, these steps are for any order you wanna use.

To be successfull, you need good management, a good attraction at least SOME Skill (helps to be attractive

Also a webpage is nice and forums and if you can then a Server is good as well

Think of a name and what not, come up with a COOL tag look for some interesting fun LOYAl members and recruit them

Then manage it
