I don't know how to make screenshots in SP DM!If I can how then?Please help me!

It's either "F5" or "Home" key. Try the two out and check the screenshots folder to see which one worked

On my keyboard it has a button that says print screen/system requirements. But I can't find my screenshots folder

No I can't make screens!I have DVD version of DM SP (not steam)so maybe thats why I am unable to make them.Please help me somehow coz I really want to make a coup of nice screens!HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody can, Greg. Just use the PrtScr button on your keyboard, then open your image editor (Paint, Irfanview etc), press Ctrl+N (= new file), press Ctrl+V (= paste).

No-body said that. And i know a lot of games where F5 = quicksave. If you installed the game outside Steam, it is nor F5 nor Home, and there is no screenshots folder. It is PrtScr (Printscreen) button, and you just have to create a screenshots folder. In the Steam version it is what Mana said (F5, just as in Half-Life2) and they're stored in the screenshots folder in the game's directory. Greg, did you install DM from the DVD, outside Steam? In the default path (i.e. Program Files\Ubisoft\Dark Messiah etc. ) or anywhwere but it is NOT installed inside Steam and you did not update it through Steam?

Good morning Greg. Steam version: see Mana's post. You'll find the screenshots folder in the SteamsApps\*your account*\mm directory. Ubisoft/DVD version: there is no screenshots hotkey and -folder by default. Create a screenshots folder wherever you want: in the Program Files\Ubisoft\DM directory, in My Documents, what you like. Use PrtScr button on keyboard to create, and imaging program (Paint) to paste the screenshot, then store it in your selfmade folder.` I hope you understand now. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx BlindNero Forums for online Dark Messiah MM and other games support |

I have delited the DVD version coz i have small problem with paint and I have installed Steam version.There is no "Screenshots"folder in the mm directory.Well maybe I shouldnt make screens.....

Sorry it's the Home button (like the .cfg file says)!
 Once you made a first screenshot, a screenshots folder will be created automatically containing it. And i mean the DVD version! I didn't even know we had that option in the DVD version as well! Thanks Greg (and Mana) for making me look for it. A new thing for the FAQ. Alright I have found it!And I have pressed this buttom lot of times during the game!And guess what?It doesnt work!No screenshots in my MM directory!(Harddisk E,Steam, my e-mail,stemapps,DM SP,mm.)I want to make some sreens!Why I cant?

Strange. I think you must have, or something went wrong somewhere.
I have the game in Ubisoft version as well as Steam version. I'll explain what i did. I checked the Steam version. It was exactly like Mana said. Although it is not mentioned in DM's Options > Keyboard menu, in the game's directory i HAD the screenshots folder and hitting the "Home" button WORKED. I doubted about the F5 key he mentioned, so i checked the .cfg file. And there it was: bind "HOME" "screenshot" I was still disappointed, assuming the Ubisoft version doesn't have that. But later i thought 'why would the Ubisoft version' .cfg file be different, and how? So i checked my Ubisoft version's .cfg file: E:\SPELEN\DMoMM\Dark Messiah of Might and Magic\mm\cfg and it says:
So, i discovered that i DO have the option for screenshots. Which i didn't realise untill Mana's post. That's why i am thankfull you posed the question in the first place!  I launched the game, it is of course NOT mentioned in Options > Keyboard. Nevertheless, i loaded savegame, hit "Home" button a few times, exited game. I went to E:\SPELEN\DMoMM\Dark Messiah of Might and Magic\mm and voilá: there has been born a "screenshots" folder with 5 new screenies in it! So, i advise you: please check your .cfg file. Open it with Notepad. If you don't have the line bind "HOME" "screenshot" type it in and save the file. Then launch the game.
