I just got the steam version of this game. I have never had any other version of it. After installation both the multiplayer and single player versions of the game give me the error: 'Failed to load the launcher DLL: The specified procedure could not be found.'

I searched this forum for dll issues, and found guides saying to move the binkw32.dll file into the bin folder(was already there) and also into the main folder(wasn't there). I've tried that and had no luck. I also read something on removing the registry from a file called MM, under a list of files, which didn't exist when I looked for it.

I am using windows xp, am using an nvidia 8600gts 256mb video card, have 2 gigs of ram, and am using a quad core 6600 computer. A friend of mine has basically the same setup(except for more ram) and just got the game off steam and it works fine.

Disgregard. I figured it out. Strangely enough it was my tier0.dll file under windows/system(not the one from the game). Removing that file fixed everything up.
