Can anything be done with broken shields (shields that have their "health" reduced to 0 or less while being used to block an attack)? I've tried dropping them, but they are the only items I can't drag out of my inventory. It works fine with everything else. Since they're taking up space in my inventory (I must have 5 or 6 broken shields), is it possible to repair them?
This is really annoying me, because I have to drop stuff that's actually useful to pick up new things, because of those dang broken shields.
Broken shields should dissapear... or atleast you should be able to throw them off... If you cant it may be a bug.. have you applied the lastest patch?
I installed Dark Messiah via Steam, so I have the latest version that's on Steam (which I assume is the latest version for retail also). I'm not sure if there's a way to check the Steam version.
I don't care as much anymore, as I just picked up the indestructible Lightning Shield (I just started Chapter 7), so I don't have to pick up any more shields. I had avoided picking up and using shields since my inventory starting getting full, until I got the Lightning Shield. Still, it would be nice to be able to drop the few broken shields in my inventory. One thing I had noticed was that if I tried to drop them before they broke (i.e. when they had 1+ health), I could drop them.
