Are you making sure you're not using "map" anywhere and are instead using "map_warrior" ?

That's really weird, it should be working without lag. I mean, I lagged using the original method of getting all spells and this one works perfect for me. Hey wait, give me one minute.

I got it! Take out these two lines:

ent_messages_draw 1
developer 1

and then close the game, save your config and load it up again. That boosted my framerate. Let me know how it works for you.

I found the problem. I opened the game, went across the boards at 45fps. Then I took fireball out, my fps went from 45 to 12 in 3 sec. No fireball for me! :P

It seems like the game will start great, then gradually decrease in fps. Wierd, huh?

It doesn't work for me (although it significantly slows down the load time) I copy pasted everything exactly as posted in the first post into the correct spots and ingame nothing happens, any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Ok I just triedit and I get a slight decrease in FPS but just enough to annoy me. Oh well, I think i would rather wait for the full game anyway, no use discvering everything now. BTW what is the hairball thing, it didnt work for me.

Try taking out the two lines I mentioned before:
ent_messages_draw 1
developer 1
And let me know if it still lags.

Hmm, make sure your file is named myconfig.cfg? That's pretty hard to diagnose, so I'd say go back and check that everything is spelled correctly.

Same here. I've been tinkering with this, and this is the only command that doesn't work. The game boots, loads the level, and nothing happens. I dont get the rest of the spells Its spelt right, the .cfg and the mm_player_skills_grosbill 1

So whats up with it?

Maybe they patched the demo? That'd be pretty lame. Are you sure you're not getting them but they're just not showing up on your bar automatically? Are they blue (draggable) even though they say "Not available in demo" when you press tab?

No, im not getting them in my inventory. I've tried it the laggy way but I cant stand that.

btw, I do appreciate your hard work with this. these are a lot of fun, the only thing I want to do now is use telekinesis on living things.

Everything is working for except getting all of the skills. None of them show up on the bar.

Press tab and drag them onto your bar from the magic skills tab.

I just tried a few other things, also didn't work

its mm_player_skills_grosbill 1 right?
