Greetings everyone.I am planning to buy DM,but the main reason of purchase is multiplayer part of the game.
So I would love to ask few questions:
1.If I ran the game perfectly(single player demo) at high quality,will I be able to play multiplayer with decent ping and decent fps at medium quality?
2.Are there many players playing this game?I dont ask that there are as many servers as lets say Counter strike,but just at least 1 crusade mode server with around 10-15 people at the evening?
3.Is the game physics in multiplayer as near good as singleplayer,I mean,when I cut someone with a sword,does a wound appear at the place where the enemy got hit like in single player,etc.
That would be all

1. Singleplayer DM and multiplayer DM are two completely different games.

Multiplayer DM requires:
-your videocard supports DirectX9.0c
-your internet connection is cabled broadband
-you purchase the game, register it in Steam, then you will be able to download and play it through Steam.

Simply because i don't know! I'm a fervent singleplayer gamer, not multiplayer...

Just scroll down this forum and you'll see many threads filled with posts by DM mp gamers. Any moment one of them may pop in this thread or you in one of theirs, better ask them.

There is 28 server ATM the EU servers are down again :/ There is 5-6 server what are popular The holy wars. That is Crusade 3 Capture The Flag (CTF) and Some DeathMatch and team deathmatch server aswell with some people in.

The avrage people playing all the time is 80 :/

I think it might have gone down now tho.

MIre it also depends on where you are from.

DMTav normally and or 85% of the time has the most players at any given time. Sometimes during "work hours" that is different as Europs has more players, but even Europe plays on the awesome DMTav

Anyways, DMTav been quite full lately with around 20-30 players. THen dropping at around 12:00 Eastern Time
