Hey guys, I'm taking recordings of certain games such as dark messiah for web content etc, but when I try to spawn NPC's in multiplayer it says the commands are unknown

Does anyone know if its actually possible to spawn npc's in multiplayer?

I've looked up "cheats" for it and it claims that it can, but the codes do not function

has anyone done this before?



in my attempts I try the following codes



sv_cheats 1

mp_allowNPCs 1

and in attempts to spawn the npcs, I used the following code

mm_npc_create_lich

and npc_create_lich,

npc_create lich

mm_npc_create lich



thanks, hope someone can help me out!

The multiplayer game is a totally different and unrelated game. Except for the same name and same engine. (Even the textures/models are from a different base file even if they look the same)

You can not spawn NPCs from Half Life 2 in DM SP and you can not spawn NPCs from DM SP in DM MP.

They even use different builds of the engine. So it won't work :/.

wow thats so lame I don't even know what to say

I certainly noticed the gameplay is extremely different than single player, kuju did quite a poor job on combat Angry Blue Guy

did they you sure? really? :P what about balancing? should a warrior cut a head of one in a hit? should a mage could freeze one and kick them off a bridge? well yea it would be nice but totally unbalanced :P but why didnt they make a balanced and unbalanced mod :P

well its already sort of unbalanced, mage is far overpowered, I can join a matured game as level 1 mage, end up with a 20/1 k/d ratio by the end of the round, pretty sad really ;(
