hey i know they've made a Dark messiah for xbox!and i was wondering will they make a version for sony playstation 3? cause ps3 is better than xbox

Performance-wise they both get beaten by any high end PC. Besides, it is not question which is best, but what do players use. If the huge crowd of PC-players won't get a game Ubi won't get their money and respect, which is plain stupid. All games are crafted on PC in the first place anyway.

Dark Messiah is only on the Xbox 360 and no plans for a PS3 version. The game has been upgraded from the PC version in regard to graphics, additional features and online play. More will be revealed closer to the launch date.
A high spec PC will always beat a PS3 and 360, but that means you have to pay good money to get a high spec gaming PC (Crysis anyone?) Consoles will always be better at appealing to non-gamers and those that just hate Keyboard and Mouse and those that do not really want to drag themselves into upgrading, patching and all the standard stuff that PC do all the time  Games are always programmed on a PC but the Developer kits are then used to tune that programming to the particular console. |

That is a minority amongst PC players, those who post in Tech Support forum. Most players keep their PC well updated and maintained and don't HAVE problems to post. Besides, DM runs excellently (medium settings) on an old AGP system with 1GB and a 9700Pro, that is really old. Dark Messiah isn't by far as heavy as Crysis. Console version would sell more perhaps? Part of the reason Dark Messiah: Elements is being developed for the 360 is that is will open another market for the game since the first PC version.(Xbox Live play for example) Currently, even the brand new PC games are being outsold by console games. Developers are more and more putting consoles first and PC's second. Some of the die hard PC Developers (Epic, Valve, ID etc) Love PC but are looking more and more at consoles in order to turn a better profit than PC's alone can produce. Just my own thoughts on the matter

with internet access and internal hds becoming more and more standard for consoles how long do you think it takes until patching is as normal as it is for pc games now?  well anyway... i hope for good sales for elements as this increases the chance that we get dm 2 sometime.... |

not quite!i've played Crysis on a 1.8Ghz procesor,512 RAM and a GeForce 7600GS graphics card!and it worked quite well at the high settings!the only major problem was the loading time,but still it wasnt as long as Dark Messiah's loading time! and if they are opening another market for this game(the consoles market)why dont they do Dark Messiah 2 for this market?! cause i wouldnt mind a Dark Messiah 2 even on a console!but Dark Messiah 2!not Elements!because they arent bringing anything new to this game!by new i mean new story,new places and so on! I think the problem here is that Ubisoft dosent apreciate a good game and he is looking only to gain money!Shame on him for that!  |

i didint said shame on him because he makes games for the money! i said shame on him because he makes games ONLY for the money! they are making this just another industry! but games are not like that! you dont cut off a good game only because it dosent sell well! |

Currently the 360 is listed as getting Dark Messiah: Elements and no other formats have been mentioned. As for sequels...who knows?
Yes Ubisoft do make money, they are a business after all! We would not be getting very far if we did not make money, but we also do it because we actually love games. Not much fun to put all of your time into something that you just don't like is it? Ubisoft as a company are spending time to create new games and to further our current brands as well. We need to keep evolving to the needs of our customers and also for our future customers, else we loose out. Things are always changing and we need to keep up with that. |

DM wouldn't sell so bad if they only did support the game properly. It was sold trough Steam too, and I bet the most people who bought it through Steam said: "Damn, it's Source engine... it will be supported the same as Half Life... it can be modded the same as HL sometimes... it's worth buying it". Then happened something different... |

Ok for one thing who here didnt enjoy the game? I mean seriously so there are some kinks but hey nothing is perfect and a simple reload from last saved point fixes your issues 9/10 times. The combat style on this game has by far made this my most enjoyable game I play. Yes I wish it was longer and a bit more free roaming as you feel traped like a mouse in a cage most of the time. I have played through this game more times then any of my other favourites I beleave a sequal could easly be made and rack in some major Dosh with a few changes and I personaly beleave the Xana ending would be the best to continue the story line from but how would you continue it with Xana cleansed easy she was (mearly ripped from you not destroyed) is a possablity as we wherent completly clear on what happened during that event. I have high hopes there will be a sequal and more of a world then a Corridor maze eg interaction with NPC's and the ability to purchase items and not just find stuff anyway theres my 2 novels worth. All in all i beleave they have made a great game but everyone playing it can see its true potential and thats why we are gettin forums flooded.

How about answers to all the people who still post and still quite frequently visit these forums? I mean The SDK, Hackers, Lying and using false advertisement? I would like answers before I get my $50 for UBI's wrong doings. Oh and then I will be sure to get "everyone's" Money back to them. Anyways, I doubt it would ever go to the PS3 As he/she stated. I mean Cell Architecture is so much harder then the 360's 3 core's. On paper yes the Ps3 is better. Though Theoretically it is a bit inferior. Not as good as frame rates, lower loading times. Sure it has a few advantages. It is quieter, free online play (when there is hardly any games "worth" Playing online) Xbox 4 life. |

First of all i didnt say that Dark Messiah is not a good game!  Where did you got that ideea? I've played this game for 30 times and it still amazes me,i said this before and i'll say it again:it is one of the best games ever!I just said that the loading time is much longer than at Crysis but thats because of the engine! And second of all about your "high hopes there will be a sequel" you can just give up now so you wont be disapointed!  The problem here is not how to continue the game! i can assure you my friend that there are a lot of possibilites to continue the story! The problem is Ubisoft! that doesnt want to make a sequel! You belive that "they made a great game"? so do we all! Everybody belives that they made a great game! everybody except Ubisoft! all that we can do now is to wait! |

"They" is Arkane. Yes they made an AMAZING game, on an enhanced Source engine that makes Half-Life2 look pale!
