I'm back again ....

I have killed the Cyclops. Now, in this room, as I understand it, I am to "use the rope bow to work my way up the tall structure with the stairs around it. From there jump to the ledge on the wall of the room, and work my way around to the other side." Great but ....

Maybe I'm on the wrong set of stairs, butI'm at the tower that is under a "hole" in the roof. I starts with stair at the bottom of the structure and then they are broken. I have looked all over the place to shoot the rope to something and get across to continue with the stairs, but be damned if I can find anything. In fact, I've walked the entire room looking for anything that will take the shot from the rope bow and see absolutely nothing.

1. Am I in the right room?
2. Am I climbing the correct stairs?
3What do I shoot the rope to?

One advice: close the walkthrough and start playing following your own intuition.

Go stand where the cyclops's corpse is lying (where he stood in the first place), with your eyes aimed at the right side (from where you came in) part of the room. Look up to the structure with the broken stairs. At the right side of it is a wooden planks structure high on the wall.

Seems the older I gets, the dummer I gets .....

I was at the right place, with the right idea but I was shootinig at the lower planks instead of the higher planks above. So I wasn't too far off track. Like they say "it's the small things that will kill ya".

Anyway, game is finished and it was fun, with some good graphics. Regarding the walkthrough, I don't use that much as (like you) it is more fun discovering things for yourself. But I did use it about 7 times durinig the game for some help.

Oh you're right, not all wood in the game is "rope-bow'-able! But most is.

You're not dumb, come on! I meant: not only is it most fun to discover all by yourself, it is also more natural, whilst 'help' can get you on a wrong track or plaster your eyes!
