Everybody want's a Dark Messiah 2 but what do we do to have it?!lets all sign a petition to arkane and ubisoft demanding a new Dark Messiah with a new story related with the previous one,more gameplay hours(like 50 or so),more places to explore,more freedom,more races from might & magic universe and bigger cities where you can buy stuffs,like a time off from the main quest etc.
P.S.it wouldn't be a bad ideea to develop new combat sistem with hand to hand,spears,waraxes and other great weapons.I'm waiting for Dark Messiah 2.

A might and magic game using a similar fighting system as well as the updated source engine (Episode 2) (Bigger environments now load faster with little performance loss compared to smaller ones) would be lots of fun. especially if it featured a multilayer game taking advantage of the engine features and not some game that could have been made years ago just with worser graphics quality...

Sign a petition? I doubt that'd work, cold hard cash from game sales would mind, although that'd hardly encourage them to make a better product -_- and I for one don't especially care about the story, it was hardly stellar material. It doesn't even have to be related, as long as all your other points were covered I'd be more than happy.

Although 50 hours of gameplay in a fast paced FPS like DM? That might be asking a little too much, both in terms of quality developement and on the players themselves! For a FPS like this, as long as the action is broken up with exploration and city NPC interaction (shopping, side quests and whatnot) then I think 20 hours of gameplay would be more than enough, that's still over double the previous DM (imo).

Maybe you're in need for issues and losing support...

Perhaps the main issue is considering DM a game itself instead of a HL2 mod.

The best thing to do imo is saving some money and hiring some good coder (Neil Manke?) who could modify HL2 for our purposes (I vote for coop mode!!!!).

So if you say that hard cold cash would do the work then lets all give 10$ to ubisoft and arkane to make Dark Messiah 2!and if that doesent work we double it! make it 20$!

Arkane are the best! they've made arx fatalis and that says something!they are the only ones who can and must make Dark Messiah 2

They could release full SDK as promised...

As I said they simply modded HL2...

dude.... if there would be only the slightest chance for that to work i would tell you that giving it to ubisoft wouldn't be the smartest thing to do... with such an amount of money you could hire arkane directly to do it ^^

I concur with that, Arkane did very well with Arx, despite its relative age I'd rate Arx over DM. If DM 2 was more like Arx, but kept the action of DM, and was allowed alot more developement time than DM was (to iron out bugs and implement more features before release), then I would be very, very interested.
