Well read the title i heard alot of it and i played the demo (plese dont call me a geek but i completed the demo like 20 times cuz it was so great) but i got some questions that i really want to know the answer on before i buy the game

1: do you have to create a new account to dark messiah to play online or can i use my HOMM5 acc?

2: i heard then you have to play online you have to have steam, i got steam and i can download it in 2 sec if i have to but if i buy the normal game in stores does it also have multiplayer or does i have to buy anything special to play multiplayer, if the normal game (not collectors) can play multiplayer do i have to get steam then?

3: my computer is pretty big and all the things i have is almost double as big as the recommend but my prosessor is only 2,2 GHZ but all the other things is twice as big as the recommend should be. the demo works fine but will the game (then i come further in the game) also work fine?


Well thats all question 2 is a little weird with all the questions but i hope oyu understand ym bad english and if my computer is big enough i will go get the game as soon as i can xD (BTW say if this is the wrong thread im in)

1: you play DM multiplayer through Steam, using your Steam account

2: -You can buy the DVD. It contains both singleplayer DM, and multiplayer license through the serial key.
This is how it works: you install the singleplayer as standalone game outside Steam, then install patches 1.01 and 1.02.
For multiplayer DM, you run Steam, then register your game with the serial in the manual in the DVD-box. Then Steam will offer both single and multiplayer, but you already have the singleplayer so you only select the mp version, then download it.

-Second option: you buy and download the whole thing (both games) through Steam.

You choose which method you prefer.
I personally prefer to own the physical DVD, besides i have the Editor's Edition which includes a Making Of dvd 2.

3: How BIG your computer and its components are says nothing about its performance and quality. How the demo ran says not much about the real deal.

If you sign up for product updates at Ubi web site you could have DMoMM for free. Or you can wait six months or so and you could find the game for free on PC magazines...

What makes you claim that what Ubisoft did with FarCry (sponsored advertise version for free) did with DM? And who wants a game ruined with adverts?
And why would paying for a clean version of a great game be a waste of money?

Hey i bought the game it didnt cost much cuz the store sat the price down! i think its a great game working fine only lag spikes in beginning of chapter (5 sec lag) and then its working fine, very funny game im soon trying multiplayer xD but i heard there should be some bugs but havent found some yet but its sad they dont want to make more patches

Last night I saw on Fileplanet that you could download Far Cry and Prince of Persia for free (ads included).
So I went to http://www.ubi.com/IT/default.aspx (I'm in Italy) to sign up with Ubi and get the games.
After clicking on "Iscriviti per offerte esclusive" I had to compile the form, then it asked me which game I would get for free, in the list appeared DM...

When registering I faced a page with a much longer list of games (I had to tick "Vorrei ricevere i contenuti esclusivi e le offerte speciali dei giochi Ubisoft" in the form).
Yes you're not sure to win the game, but I assume this since you can find almost all games listed in italian PC magazines.
I guess it's only a matter of time...

I doubt it, it would need a cd key for the game to fully work. And also seeing as Elements is coming out for the Xbox360 it would be VERY illogical for them to release it like that.

I'm pretty certain it wont be out for free, at least not till 2008.
