I am surprised at the degree of help awarded by the Moderator

I have the same problem as the writer of this thread. 'Follow the goblin' is all good and well but you have to watch the rooftops that you don't fall, goblin jumps left and right and around corners and there is not much time or any to see the goblin.

Despite reading the walkthroughs I simply 'loose' the goblin and run out of time over the rooftops, there is no chain where there is supposed to be one etc

After hours of trying and dying, perhaps this game is not for me.
I see in other threads people seem to get 'stuck' very often in the various future chapters as well.

Nice, make a beautiful game and put some stupid features into it, couple that with unhelpful moderators on forum and you have a receipe for failure

I totally agree with the original thread starter and Serpenta! Oblivion, Morrowind and quite a few others were not as difficult as trying to follow the goblin. We ALL know we have to follow the goblin! But falling off the roofs and watching the goblin's icon without getting killed, IS pretty tough. It's the only way to get through this Chapter.

lol Too Happy
You've been a gamer for years and now you need 4 (four) threads to play a 2 years old game?

Too Happy

Solitare is an easier choice... (at least you don't need a walkthrough...)

Reason for playing a 2 year old game is because this game never reached much fame, and now I know why.....
I was in hospital without internet connection and a friend brought me this one. So now I am back home and trying to carry on with it. But heck, a game where skeletons need five fireballs and they still are not dead...

Yes, I am used to more sophisticated games where content is not artificially dragged out with stupid contents which makes you die ten times over for retrying stupid sequences

yes i guess that is where some of your problems come from...
these games are all kind of point and click where you want to move while dark messiah is an fps (=> sometimes you need to control every step while doing something completely different)

however the question asked was "what is to do at this point of the game?" and it was answered
there is no need to blame the persons who did so
if you need further information actually asking for it could be of more help

a totally other thing is how hard it actually is to follow the goblin (i guess most people here can't know as they, like myself, played only the pc version where this part is not included)

on the other hand there is a similar quest in the pc version that is quite doable so it could also be that the control for the xbox version simply suck (anotehr thing i can't judge)

The only things that really helps was posted by FCY-JMDK-WLKY.

I guess that if this is the average DM buyer, Ubi has its reasons for not giving us a sequel or worse SDK.... Hammer

Oh my,oh my... Eek
I see that in my absence many things happened Big Grin
For example a bunch of idiots(sorry guys but I cant call you otherwise Smile)are trying to catch a freakin' "goblin".
Well guys I have some bad news for you Sad
You'll never catch the "goblin"!
The only thing you'll be able to catch is the bloody GHOUL Wink
And now for some more issues!
I want to know...Skeemie and Serpenta...how old are you guys?
Because you would need to have like 12 years or to be a retard in order to not be able to catch the ghoul!
Well,if you're 12 years old then why the hell are you playing this game? It's rated 18 for Christ's sake!

I totally agree with the original thread starter and Serpenta! Oblivian, Morrowind and quite a few others were not as difficult as trying to follow the goblin. Thread Mod thinks he's a gamergod, just makes things worse. We ALL know we have to follow the goblin! But falling off the roofs and watching the goblin's icon without getting killed, IS pretty tough. It's the only way to get through this Chapter. Alot of people just don't have the patience required to deal with others(I know, you've been a moderator since you were 12).

A very nice game this "Oblivian",too bad I've never heard of it Wink!
Oh wait you're talking about Oblivion...that kidies'game!
You see Skeemie,Dark Messiah is a real game, Dark Messiah is a men's game! Angry
So,if you're looking for something like Oblivion then you've got the wrong game pal! Angry
If you find this game too tough is because as I said before this is a men's game!

@Serpenta

You call yourself a gamer? Profile Too Happy
Sure you are kid! You have a great collection of games there Thumbs Up,that's if you're a 12 years old Too Happy WoW and Guild Wars are not games! Angry

This game has more fame than you'll ever get in your whole life!
And about the skeletons...there are no skeletons, you mean undeads!
And yes you're right Roll Eyes In other, more sophisticated games you dont need 5 fireballs to kill a "skeleton",a single click of the mouse would to the trick Veryhappy
And yes...you play a lot of sophisticated games...WOW,Oblivion,Guild Wars... Roll Eyes
Very sophisticated indeed!

Kid,even Fifa is too hard for you!

Aptly put, my friend. You will have to do quite a bit better than that. I am 55 and have been a gamer since 'Pong". You are probably WAY too young to know what pong is ("either that or you're an idiot").
I am playing all characters the 360 game offers.
I'm now in the 'Spider' Chapter with all characters. I play them one at a time trying hard to make the most of what this game offers.
So tell me oh-Grand Wizard of Gamerdom, did YOU play the Best RPG of 2006? If so, did you finish it and did you play 'Nights of the Nine' and 'Shivering Isles'?
BTW, there is absoultely no comparrison to these 2 games! Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion=Porterhouse steak.
Looks like someone's idea of "a man's game" is probably (just guessing here) is to see how maxed out a person can be without screwing up while playing M & M. Elements.

First of all is Oblivion and not Oblivian!
And wow...you really are a gamer. You've played Pong. Roll Eyes
That is something! Googly
Because is the first game in history everyone played it when it was released so...you dont impress me kid...I mean "man" Veryhappy Profile Sad
And if you really are 55 and still playing video games...you really have a problem Hammer
And you have a big problem if you cant catch that ghoul Hammer Hammer
I said you have to be 12 or to be retarted in order to not be able to catch the ghoul...well you said you have 55...so that leaves only one option Veryhappy
You are trying hard to make the most of what this game offers?? Googly
Wow grandpa Too Happy For one who has played Pong Profileyou aren't too good at games.I mean you are trying hard to play DM?? Confused
Second, you are 55 and you've played games since Pong and still you dont have a better example of an RPG to give me other than Oblivion?I bet you didnt even play the other elder scrolls games Mocking
So come on "grandpa" name me at least 10 good RPG's...and dont start with Oblivion and it's addons because is a game for 12 years old kidsTongue
O...and about "Oblivian"...I havent played it...I've only played OBLIVION.
Same thing with "Nights of the Nine"...I've only played Knights of the Nine
Heck...you cant even spell their names Wazzup

You love to bite a chunk out of someone's butt and then you say "name some games". Na..don't have to prove myself. 1st off, try reading all of my post and you'd see that I'm way past that point. I do apologize for playing games probably before you were even born (yeah...I know that I'm old). So, that makes me retarded? You're a real wiz-bang yourself. Try something that I do once in a while called proof-reading. So I still play video games? It's way better than than sitting around and getting drunk/stoned and making a total jerk of myself.
You must be a real big guy 'cause you're just spitting out venom on a forum that's here to help people. I'm just repling only to your posts. BTW, you're not even worth it, now that I think of it. You are probably some small person that tries to get a reaction from other people. Are you a bully at grade school too? Do you torture small animals, because all the girls make fun of you? Well, try to get a life and get some education (like learn how to structure a sentence), plus learning how to spell wouldn't hurt either.
That's all the time I'm wasting on you. Try to impress someone else with your imagination!
If you're not sure about this post...try reading slower.
P.S.-I love your little smiley faces!

Kid,I can do this all day! The question is can you? Winky Cool

Why do you change the subject? Roll Eyes You have nothing else to say?I thought I've asked you to name me 10 good RPG's! So...I dont see any names here... Angry Blue Guy
Oh wait in your previous post you said something about Oblivion...that's right! And what did you say? You said that Oblivion is better than Dark Messiah? In this case,if you really are 55 then you must be retarded in order to make such a statement! Googly
But you see,I know you're lying because no true gamer would ever rate Oblivion over Dark Messiah because Oblivion was and is a
game for children! It was made for 13 years old! So take it easy with the lies. Spam

So I still play video games? It's way better than than sitting around and getting drunk/stoned and making a total jerk of myself.
Or maybe you can get yourself a life,a job or a family!Do you even realize what it means to have 55 years? At the age of 55 people don't play video games they have a career,a business, they have a family to take care of,they dont have time to spend it on video games! That unless you're a loser in life... Wazzup
O...and this forum is not for helping people, this forum is for people that like this game, not for buggers like you!If you have something against Dark Messiah then just dont play it because we dont care about you, about your problems and about your lies! That's not what we need on this forum! Angry

I do apologize for playing games probably before you were even born (yeah...I know that I'm old). So, that makes me retarded?

Right...you've played games before I was even bornClapIf you've played all of them like you've played Dark Messiah... Roll Eyes
Your words are not of an old man but of a small child trying to prove himself Profile Sad
Anyway,I'm not making you a retard for being old(as I doubt you're even telling the truth)
I'm calling you a retard for acting like one, showing your childish side to everyone. Wink

I wouldnt talk about getting a life if I were you because being 55 and still playing games can hardly be called a life Mocking
And about the spelling...and the structure of the sentences...I can give you the same advice.Wink2

You're right, you've just proved that you have nothing else to say and that you are only avoiding the subject. Veryhappy
