It can be enabled... I read somewhere on how to do it. But I don't remember where

hey, xpacerx, i said the same thing (i mean, seriously... in this day and age we should be able to map pretty much all actions to what ever button/configuration we want right?)
anyway, on this page they tell you how to fix it; essentially, you just have to set your default preference in the xbox dashboard, select your gamercard, game defaults, action, invert y axis. disclaimer: i haven't actually tried this yet, but i'm hopin' it works, 'cause if it doesn't i'm returnin' this freakin' game; there's just no excuse for this. hth, -decompiler- update: it works! thank goodness... i was getting tired of fighting enemy toes... no one reads my blog. blog.decompiler.us This message has been edited. Both of you just dont start to cry now! Be serious!! You are returning a game because it hasnt got inverted aim?? And about the "day and age" stuff: Go write a book if it bothers you! |

Is not about talent here. Is about your ridiculous conceptions about games!! And watch out how you're talking to other members! |

@am-shaegar: ok, i wasn't cryin', i was pissed.
let's go back in time a bit shall we? about 5.5 years ago timesplitters 2 came out, and in that game you could map every single button to what ever action you wanted it to be; imho every first-person game since then should've followed suit. of course every game hasn't gone that far, but when was the last time you bought a console first-person game that didn't let you invert the y-axis? i can't even remember... maybe in the n64/ps1 era? that just shows how little thought really went into this port from the pc game. and it's not just a little detail, either; look at the professional reviews, look at the blogs, look at the forums; we're not the only ones that were frustrated by this. it's really a simple question of customer satisfaction, and considering dark messiah: elements gives us absolutely no choices in regards to button mapping, we weren't satisfied. luckily, a little-used (little-needed) setting in the 360's preferences allow us to enjoy the game more fully. i do agree with you about one thing, though: it's not about talent. it's about the way game developers treat us as customers, and how we react to that treatment. i hope that was enough of a "book" for you. @am-shaegar and xpacerx: let's keep the peace out here, fellas. we're all gamers and we all just want to enjoy our games. save the smack talk for halo 3. no one reads my blog blog.decompiler.us |

Gah your both DUMB. All you do is go into your gamercard. You can set your default control settings for demos etc. You enable it to automatically INVERT. You will be inverted on ALl games you play except when your in game and set it yourself.
If the game does not have it. You will still be inverted :P BTW I was just joking about the DUMB part. But I was really just joking about joking Enjoy xD |
