Sry I'v been away a while. I was helping move. Well it looks like a tie. Yes this is a serious post.
The ninja is different from the assasin in the fact that he has extreme jump and sprint. This makes him an exelent sniper. Also he can be extremely usefull on dragonback; the dragon can drop him off at a high spot so he can snipe ppl. He has very low stanima(thus the extreme jump and sprint) and gets bonus dmg for head shots. The Minitaur is ment to be a fast charger and used to clear the path for mages and such. Has very slow energy regen but at lvl 5 he can charge enimies and impail them on his horns(horn if undead), this can be very usefull in tight spots and coridoors. The Ogre is meant to be a sort of blocade,(allies can stand behind him) and has very thick skin, having a strong resistance to arrows and magic, but a weakness to fire, this class may also cause the people who run the game to improve the effect areas of the body(bonus dmg for head shots and such) for my next idea; OPEN WOUNDS: Once the Ogre is ingured enough in a certian spot, the wound becomes a weak point which will cause a little extra dmg for mele atacks and an extreme bonus to range atacks(as a bonus to those super snipers out there Druid in normal form has his staff and animal form. On the upgrade tree, one side is for the bear/dreadwolf and the other side is for the druid. The druid has spells like locust/wasp swarm, brush fire(causes bramble patches to catch fire) which will encourage teamwork and plauge(will cause brambles to die out and burn better[won't put out fire<possability of the brambles not disapearing and alowing druids to stack fires>]). Wyrmlings/Baby black dragons have rider ability at lvl 3 and riders to half normal dmg to ground units. Air units(including the rider) do double dmg to other air units. Black dragons have a harder time flying/gliding due to holes in wings and decaying limbs. Riders can be from any class. For the upgrade tree, one side is devoted to atacks(increasing range and accuracy) and the other side is devoted to flying. I think flying should be either done with the "q" key being left wing and "e" being right wing, or pressing space bar being flap(holding will send you into a dive) steering will be done with the mouse. Honestly I think new classes is not a good idea when the other classes still need work. I'd rather see more diversity in current classes. Alot of class ideas you have could be fullfilled by current classes with new abilities.
-Druid is really a priestess of nature -ninja is an assassin -Ogre is a warrior with lots of hp(last stand anyone?) -the wyrmling/dragon class seem a bit unfeasible and a huge addition to gameplay lets talk abilities we could add -Ice and necromancy trees for mages -more defined curse/corrupt powers for priestesses (dot stuff) -shapeshifting powers for priestess? naaah -duel wield for warriors -crossbows for archers, explosive arrows, speed shooting buff -assassins make: poison dagger, arterial dagger, feign death, and disguise useful -oh yeah rope arrows for archers and short swords for close range defense ^.^ Theres plenty of neat stuff we can do to expand the game without adding new classes. Infact I think we should do away with classes all together and have a pool of melee, magic, and utility abilites like from singleplayer...cloaking archers, melee priestesses, fireball slinging assassins! |

I never said this was to take place imidiatly. I am just proposing new characters. Besides if you just buff up the other characters you will have to buff them all up, my solution was to creat a new character. The ninja is NOT an assasin, it is completely different, it is pure black so it can hide in shadows, but no invisibility. It is meant as a long range sniper. It has very low health.
The ogre is like I said; meant to clear a path and take all the blows. The priestess is a healer, the druid is a warrior/buffer. The Minataur is just a knight with different atributes, like a rook(castle) and a bishop in chess. I am just proposing new characters. In my opinion, the overall gameplay for singleplayer is much like Thief Gold(my brother is adicted to it, but he never got past the town of zombies).

i think the dragon + druid idea is the best of all proposed cause it's the most not alredy used in mp.
but i don't really see the point of new classes at the moment i would rather have just different models for the already existing classes. or new teams next to humans and undead, like orc, or barbarian, dwarf, elven,.... ************************************************ ()_() .(\__/) ( x_x) (+'.'+) ((")(") ('')_('') |

Only thing I want right now is a warrior with a war-hammer. Preferrably 2-handed.
Right now only Mage and Priestess has the greatest variety of all the classes. You have 2 extremes, Lightning and Fire/Healing and Corrupting. Why not do the same with the other classes?
