Stop thinking of problems/ways it will not work. I did not type up a whole project essay on this because this is not a thread for it, nor do I have the SDK so I don't need to. I already have a solution for that, and a bunch of other problems that may arise. If any sort of team tournament play is desired a server could use a main datbase via cvar such as.. "sv_usemasterforlevels 1" which would be on as default it would also disable the commands for changing XP gain and spell powers, with 0 it would use the server for saving levels it could also use "sv_usemastersettings 1,2,3 or url" so it could use the settings as set by A) the mod makers B) Url for some gaming league. Both of these cvars could be displayed publicly in the scoreboard. The Mp game already sends out stats to Ubi's sql database and has it on by default. It wouldn't be too hard to code in a similar function to the SP mod.

And I could type another paragraph or fifteen on some of the other problems that would arise. Just stop thinking of problems, the point of the thread is not to discuss the idea of my mod. I just merely wrote out what my mod could do in general. And hell... even with 0 new capabilities added it could be a fun game if SP was made online...

If we had the SDK i'd have a project page already, which would be very long and would describe (in detail) what kind of game it would be and how to counter the problems that might arise. Although i'd keep it as simple as possible. And due to the fact that any user can learn the skills they want little or no balancing would be required. As almost ever skill would come in usefull and even if you are a mage you'd always be able to grab a club or throw a bucket at Lhorkan's head :P.

but hell such a mod would be like the perfect game and so i think about what it would be like (and these thoughts include flaws)

however... we all know that it's unlikely to happen at all and yes, some info would be nice ^^

You know if they take up all these ideas they could sell an expansion with same controles and such and charge 20$ for it. Then after this game OWNZ ALL THE OTHERS WITH ITS CUSTOMALITY, they can release a fairly good sequal for 30$ and get RICH because of all the hype from the expansion.

I can imagion it now, a party of 30 or so people wandering through a minature world after summoning a trans-dementional rift to "The World Of Super Spikey Objects And Pointy Things" toards the castle of broken glass, owned by me(because people will be geting cut a lot, read my name... it fits... ok I just want a big pointy castle made of broken glass), and then suddenly I cast "Implosion" to break apart a towering wall of beer mugs and cast "Dark Rift", draging all the 30 or so people through all the pointy things and killing them. I still think that if they go through with this and make this a fully custom game then they will rake in the dough(mainly I just want the game to be like we all dream of it being... and my castle in "The World Of Super Spikey Objects And Pointy Things" made of glass ).
Searously, if they make this the game like we all want(fps gaming, full customality, ect..) then they will make a lot of MONEY on it. We get the game(20 or 30 bucks) and they get the 20 or 30 bucks. If they make this the best way possable, they can get very noticed, which will lead to more people buying and that means more MONEY.
If they don't, then we might as well be the noob who kicks the bucket at the crazy super axe guy who is our dreams for this game, knocking him, and our dreams, into the spiky pit of boredom.

we can argue with the game is broken or not/ect/ect/ect HOWEVER, the fact is, the only technical support for people with issues on this forum is blindnero.

hacking is a major issue now

if they make another DM it'll be a console port. guarentee it.

i don't trust ubisoft anymore. i mean i never really thought much but every 6 months they release another ghost raven recon shield on every platform including mobile phones. i bet you assasins creed will be some dodgy console port

does anyone at ubisoft even know that they published a game called dark messiah on PC october last year?

it just makes me angry just like godfather and other people. have you noticed that in the colosseum map, the minimap in game, its actually got shadows on it of the massive statues in game. now thats some detail. yet on the other hand, there are just clear flaws which give you the irates everytime you play

Exactly, It does make us all mad. We have spent so much time on this game. I have spent so much time on this game to *get to the top players* on a game for the first time. Just because I have spent the time to do it. Turns out that this game is going to die! Inless they release the full sdk. If they do that. It will at least give people SOME potential to keep playing the game.

I think we should start posting on a BIGGER forum to them. One where they are actually active and what not. So at least our words can be heard *read* what ever lol.

All this time, I LOVED UBI, Now I am starting to despise them. That and there games, just cause you simply can not trust them anymore!

Mabey we should put a link to this thread in one for a game that they ACTUALLY READ AND DO SOMTHING ABOUT.
