I wonder how did this game sold out until now?
How many copies?
Because I dont think it was such a financial failure as they say.

Well- I couldn't find overall numbers for both Us and European sales though I imagine it sold better in the latter- I tried looking for the NPD sales charts for the time it came out but couldn't dig them up (that would have given at least some indication of how it did in the US).

They've sold 1 million copies!

They have no reason what so ever for not doing a sequel!
But no..they're too busy with assassins creed and other games!!!!

maybe cuz assassins creed is an actual good game?

Assassin's creed is really a fun game. The new DM when/if it comes should take inspiration from it's nice features.

I dont see how it can do that because DM is a First Person action RPG and AC is a Third Person action stealth.
Well I would like to see some counter moves for DM and some climbing(of course in firstperson)

Ok,on Wiki they say the game has sold over 1 mil copies and that it has been a success.

According to the Assassins creed wiki, AC has sold over 3.5 million copies which makes DM look like chump change. Still a good game though.

The figure maybe a lot higher as the game is still sold, here in my town every games shop has it @ €7,- to €10,-.
Probably they made less profit from it.
Selling price dropped remarkably soon. I guess something went wrong.

Those sales figures are just for the PS3 and XBox360 versions, the PC version wasn't released till after those sales figures had been published, so the total sales are bound to be even higher.
But as Nero says, the DM sales will be higher too, I know people who only bought the PC version last week, so it's still selling.

Hmm...I wonder what was the budget for DM.
Because over 1 mil means @30 mil euro.
