Is there any way to skip levels using the console.What happened was that i saved at the very beginning of fire in the blood or something like that and now it doesn't let me load it.Feedback would be very appreciated.

I don't think there is. Because let's assume there is a console command. It would let you skip through 6 levels to where you want to be. You then would have NO skills, and no points to buy them. And no weapons...

Other option: cheats. But that would take all the fun and challenge of the game to-tal-ly away.

So, what are you gonna do: replay the game (recommended, it's a fantastic game, i must have played it a 100 times. yeah litterally)
Or load a last savegame that does work. There must be some... 12? 14?

An error when loading a savegame can have two major reasons (besides many minor ones): A broken savegame or a broken game-file.
The latter one can be solved by reinstalling the game (don't forget to make a copy of your savegames!).
A broken savegame is more difficult. You can choose a previous savegame and play the content anew. Or maybe someone here has a saved-file of your likings who wants to share it. I myself do not have the game installed anymore, so I'm sorry I can't help you out with that.

Cheats are also a possibility, as BlindNero pointed out. You can hax yourself to the point you left off and start from there on. Google is your friend with that :-)

Third reason would be that you have the original dvd version and not installed the patches 1.01 and 1.02. Install them and replay the game. Once patched, many savegames may not work anymore. You can try your luck though.

You can use the console to go forward in maps. And use cheats to get your weapons back.

maps * in console should list all of the maps.
