can anyone post some sort of direction of how to connect to multiplayer, or direct me to one coz I cant figure it out. When i try to open up multiplayer it just loads steam which all it shows is a ton of counter strike servers. plz help the game looks tons fun in multiplayer

1. Buy the game (from retail DVD, or from Ubisoft download or from Steam download), you get sp & mp.
2. Install the game(s).
3. Launch the game you want to play.

naa coz when i go to launch mp it just comes up with steam and wont load the game. sp works fine tho

You need to activate your CD key with steam and then use that steam account to play. You can only use the CD key once.

The multiplayer runs ONLY through Steam. So, well, it asks for your key. You fill that in, done.

but now when I try to connect to steam it wont let me, keeps saying cant connect and only can connect in offline mode. (and i dont have firewall on)

Try opening the ports of the router... But that sounds like a firewall (windows or other) but if you say you have 'em off..

To open the router's ports you will need the Lava key hidden at Stonehelm, of course.

He said his Steam shows CS servers, so no router ports to be opened...
