I searched, and could find nothing. The special dagger you get, the very first ones (Poison Something, it was stuck in some guy in a room with wine barrels), when I finally got the skill and equiped them, they have white blocks all around them. The model is there, they just have white blocks moving around them. I assume it's a graphics issue, but everything else worked fine except that.

Any way to fix this? I really would like it to go away

It runs every other game on high settings ( The source games, etc ) and runs this one without hiccups or anything. It's just those blocks.

I'm not going to do the flame war with you. IT was a lame response, as everything BUT those daggers work fine. The lightning daggers have more effects and are doin' just great. It's only those ones. every other model works fine. my graphics card plays all the source games and this one with virtually NO hiccuping.

It's not the card. Drop that idea. Any others?
