well, i bought the Dark Messiah game as sonn as i could! i finished it in 2 weeks! and play it again and again... the Muli Player game is great and i still play it with all my friends and i am having ALOT of fun!!!
However, the 2 little patches in the Single Player fixed prety much everything, but the Multi Player is abandoned, for exsample: in the Colloseum mode... i think that the game is stoped beacuse the server is picking only 1 player for a round and then we all ned or to get out or to get to spectors and its not working all the time... why there are no more patches to add new maps? skills? BUG FIXES?!!! this huge game is going down for non investment at all... for haps its beacuse gamespot and thier stupid review but comeon! people bought it and want to play it and have fun! no to try solve maps problems!!! and one more thing... why the Elements version gets Paladin and Warlock and new maps and the PC version is abandoned again? i just dont get it  and the SDK... the moding tool (i think thats what it is...) why Ubi dont want to release it? I AM SO FURIOUS ! ! ! ! ! ! cant we do something? tell me what you are thinking about that and if you can explain me why it that happenning i will be very happy... and by the way i am sory for my bad english  |

Sadly the PC game is dead. I am glad I bought the game on release and had much fun during multiplayer. I loved the singleplayer too. As a big fan of the old heretic/hexen game I very very happy to play another 1st person medieval themed game once again.
The new content was x-box360 only which is sad because it looks like **** on the xbox. Some players had real issues with DM on the PC and I consider myself lucky I never had any problems running on max setting. But I was disappointing finding out they wouldn't support the PC version any longer. Great games for the PC die quick while **** games get updates/sequals for a lifetime. Dark Messiah is an awesome great game both single and multiplayer. I wish they would make more maps for multiplayer and some expansions for single player. I quit playing DM a long time ago but recently started single player once again. To bad multiplayer was dead so quick, but that was mainly because some people found out a way to exploit with the wizardclass. Sad |

you are so right!
they released the game and left it! i order it as soon as i could with all of my friends long time ago! now we are doing some comeback... the mages are ***ing stupid with those fire orbs and some skills are to overpowerd i will be happy if you will read what i wrote about the sequal i am sory for my bad english again... here: i think the singel player was very good! not to short or not to long... but the multi player is so lame! for exsample: - some anoying bugs like: if you are falling to water, you will crash a floor or just stop in the air :S - the classes are not so organized, i would like to see those classes: 1) knight, using the warrior skills in the corect DM now, using sword and shield. 2) paladin, using a 2 handed sword, can buff him seld with a spell book (not others) 3) archer, very good skills, i loved the archer in this game, altought i would like to make a special spot for archers to come with fire and then they can use thier arrows like in the SP, get close to fire and shoot! Big Grin, the skills like the fire arrows are lame....... 4) assasin, the stink bombs he have are really lame, exsept this he is good to, but i would like to see the backstub animation like in the SP 5) mage, why the mage in the game is only lightning and fire? i think the ice mage will be very usefull to! the fire orbs suks ass! and the chain lightning is not a chain, it sopouse to hit an enemy and go on to another in sight untill it over (like 3-5 poeple, if there are only you and the enemy it will be going to you and him...) 6) priest, i think the priest need to buff others like stoneskin and heal them and thats all! and now i have an idea, remove all this elemental wepons from all the classes and add a skill to the priest that will make her\other wepons to be elemental, like ice sword or fire sword, poison sword, lightning sword, and she can make a magic shield (the mage dont need to do magic shield! mage is a warrior wizard and priest is a healer wizard) and she can buff herself\others with aura shields, like if she will cast a ice shiled on archer, the shiled will be usefull for one hit, if enemy will attack him he will get freeze, for 3 sec or something like that... remove all her curses! she is a priest!!! 7) warlock, he will be the curse guy, make poison clouds and blind archers Big Grin thats all for the classes - now for the maps, they are sooooooooooooooooooooo weird! I tought i will play on a castle walls with the archer, and the undead will attack the gate, not fighting on little bridges, fighting in a land or a city, or defend the harbor if an undead ship is comeing, something like that, not fighting on wierd mountains places and caves wich are like 100000 KM above the ground, i would like to see a realistic buttlegrounds! and i think thats all, i hope you agree with me and make it come true, again the game Dark Messiah is G R E A T! but the uninvestment on the little things and to some things without of thinking, thats what make the game not as good as it can be Frown.
