Does somebody knows why they never show Sareth's face?,i mean mayby they are planing for a sequel or so and want to make us a surprise.
If you have any idea's how this can be possible posted here. |

He does have a face. But it's untextured and as such is only one color...

like salmoncat, its always standard in fps to not see the main characters face, though in som cases you can, pending on story telling.
**example** you can see: doom 3 thief fear far cry you can not: wolfenstein 3d doom doom2 quake halflife (though you may see his face on some pictures, hanging on wall etc) aliens versus predator i could write down almost every fps thats been made, but i havent got time for that. have you ever played halo?, the main character never shows his face, everytime you see him take off his helmet they change camera so that you cant see him. |

To me he has no head.
Type Thirdperson in console and you see his body but no head. Yeah i think he is ment to be YOU. |

You never played Wolf3d or DOOM, did you? You can see BJ and DOOM Guy's face quite clearly in the hud. As for AvP1, I could have sworn you could see the marine's face. And when did they show Pointman's face? Seriously, it helps to play the games before you start commenting on them. |

you are really really sure on that? because for some time ago when i played i had some lag suddently a big lag spike came and it was choppy after the big lag spike.. i found out that i moved faster than myself and if i looked back i could see my self.. now you ask what did i see? a headless man with my armor and my weapon :P they never made a face of sareth not even a head :P he are and will be headless maybe? ;D |

Mana is right.
Arkane made 3 different Sareth's heads without textures.  Other pic But Sareths are headless and armless when you look at them from distance.   |
