Hey all, I just started playing Dark Messiah and I'm on the mission where you have to re-take the boat and board it with Leanne. Unfortunately, when Leanne says that I've defended it enough and tells me to get on board, she begins climbing a ladder and just gets stuck on the ladder. She still remains in climbing animation but she's halfway up the ladder and is getting nowhere. Is there a patch or a developer console command that can force her up the ladder without losing the mission?

Make sure you have installed the patches!

Right-click on each file > Properties. Check if at the bottom there is a Windows security blockade, if so click button "Unblock".
Install 1.01 and 1.02 (in that order).

I'm wondering though, if this MM is installed on steam, doesn't Steam install the patches for you? (hence the really long automatic steam download after it has been installed.)

Would you have said you're running the Steam version i wouldn't have told you to install the patches.

Do NOT try to install the patches on the Steam version (even if it would go it would be useless).

Yes Steam updates automatically.

Reload the savegame before Leanna climbs the ladder, and see if the problem happens again. I suppose it won't.
