I'm running the non-steam version with the 1.02 (or is it 1.2?) patch. I am trying to kill the giant spider in chapter 8. Browsing here I see that the only problem there has been with the spider is it won't show up sometimes. Well, mine showed up but I can't kill it. I went through all my potions and probably stabbed it in the stomach 30 times and it will not die. I finally just turned on the console and god mode, spawned the sword of fire, and stabbed away for 20 minutes straight. I know I am hitting it because I keep getting the adreniline stuff, but it won't die. Any suggestions?

Nevermind, I reloaded an older save game and this time it he went down.
