So there are a couple of things that you are going to want to try. First, update the drivers for your video card, sound card and mother board. These three drivers will work in tandem with each other so each update is important. If the error still occurs there could be an install problem. Before reinstalling the game you will want to put your system into a general selective startup. You will do this by going to Run in your Start Menu and typing msconfig. Stay on the General tab and uncheck Load Startup Items. Do not uncheck anything else. Click Apply and Close and it will ask you to restart. Allow this to happen. Once the computer reboots go into your system tools and run both Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter. This will set your computer up for a clean install of the game. At this time go ahead and uninstall and reinstall the title.
