yeah , keep the dashes, your problem is that way your typing it most likly. pay special attention to the letters V and U and a Q and O as they look very similar to each other. ( i typed a V three times into my CD key before relizing it was a U). Also you HAVE to type the CD key in ALL CAPS! if not,it wont read it right. Hope this helps, post if it doesnt.

took me about 500 times to figure out that a "O" was really a zero "0" too, so beware of that lol

and once again:

EIB:
key for game install..above cdroms
Key for online play...on manual

RTH30:
Key for online play..above dvd
(does not have an install key)

If you do not have a key..contact OFFICIAL UBI SUPPORT (links in NEED HELP sticky thread) and be prepared to prove actual purchase.

Likewise to Swat_Doc.

I have typed in the correct key code.

There is only one key-code, the one on the manual.

The "I" is definately not a 1 & the U is definately not a "V". I have had several members of my family confirm that I have typed it in correctly and do so themselves.

Assitance would be most welcome. Smile

i must have a weird copy then....... i do have two keys, yes, one on the DVD BUT the other is on the front of the manual(in the bottom left hand corner). i DID buy this legally from my local shop.

and the protection system only allows me to enter the code in caps. is it meant to do this?

sorry if this is ticking you all off, but i am seriously an idiot. seriously.
