Ok this is a bit of a strange problem. Everything runs smooth and perfect if I'm by myself, but the second I look at a squad my fps drops. It's like the computer is having trouble rendering them. There's nothing graphically wrong the framerate just drops when I'm looking at other squad members.
Anyone else experience this? any solutions? Specs: Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 2.8Ghz 2x Geforce 8800 GTX (in SLI mode) 4GB RAM Windows Vista Ultimate |

try to run game without sli. few friends of min with almost the same rig had this problem, they turned sli off and framerate was quite stable.
anyway what fps do u have? |

Hi
This works 100%. Rename biahh.exe to MassEffect.exe. SLI will work with no slowdown. This fix has helped many with sli. |

Renaming the EXE didn't work but disabling SLI did the trick. I haven't noticed any fps difference between SLI and non-SLI.
As far as framerate I don't know the command to show the fps, but I noticed no shuttering or skips so at least 30+ fps |

Sorry, forgot to mention. You must have at least beta 177.92 drivers, the MassEffect.exe was re made for these drivers or the new official drivers from nvidia site. This will work if you have the correct drivers I promise and your game will run 'silky smooth'.
