It's your video card... intel cards are not having much luck.

Contact UBI tech support to find out for sure..

it doesn't matter whether it's a notebook or a desktop, it's the same, i can have the same ram, video card, and anything else.. there is no difference...

about the video card,, this is what they say in the FAQs
Intel - for Video cards with the following chipsets:
800 Series
900 Series

and i have a better one i think,,
Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset

it's really strange, this is the first game i've ever had problems with

Hello I have the same Intel Chipsets and the same problem that spyer_9999 has. My screen is black, despite I can hear the sound. So what UBI Support told you to do? Is there anything? Confused

Spyder...I am trying to help you for I have been moderating BIA forums from the start of BIA.

YES it does matter whether you are running a laptop versus a PC. Laptop computers DO run different (except maybe now some Alienware or DellXPS systems).

Straight from the Ubi Support FAQ it states:

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release*

ATI Radeon 8500/9000/X series
NVIDIA GeForce 4/FX/6 series (GeForce 4 MX not supported)

These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game. Laptop models of these cards not supported.

Like mentioned..contact Official UBI support. What I said about Intel cards was straight from a horses mouth at UBI some time ago..
