I just bought the game today, installed it but when I launch the game-I just see a black screen.I do hear sounds though.

Can anybody help me please-it's not cheap, especially on a student's budget.

Unfortunately the problem that you are coming across is because of your video card. The Radeon 2100 video card is below minimum requirements. It is an onboard video chipset and does not have it's own dedicated memory.

How much would a decent or minimum required video card be? Thanks for your help.

Here are the supported video cards:

ATI Radeon X1600, X1800, X1900, X1950, HD 2600, HD 29000, HD 3850, HD 3870 families
Nvidia Geforce 6800, 7600, 7900, 7800, 7900, 8600, 8800, 9600, 9800 families.

You can find them at most any computer hardware retailer. Unfortunately I do not have any prices for them.

The Radeon X600 is below minimum requirements for the game unfortunately. Of the Radeon family you will have to have an X1600 or better to get the game to run.
