the problem started after i installed the game.
I hit the play button and it brought me to a "Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood" protection system,(i dont fully understand it) well it asked me for the disc key.well when i first saw it i entered the code on the back of the manuel,after that i entered the code on the inside of the case and that didnt work also.so o sat there thinking and entered a number code on the disk and THAT didnt work! so plz any one out there please help, i dont want to be stuck with a great game and not be able to play it,or refund it. so now in its current state its pretty much useless to me. so yet agian plz help me out thx

ugh...you too? I went to best buy yesterday and got the game for $20. We went to install it, and it installed fine. Then it installed the protection system and asked us to reboot...okay.

Then we clicked play, and it demanded the code.
The code printed on the back of the manual is different than the one on the sticker above the CD holder. We tried both and had the same problem. We even tried various combinations of 0 and O and with '-' and without '-' and with EIB and without EIB at the front...nothing worked. It kept said error invalid...

We returned it to best buy to get a new one. We opened it in front of the customer service lady. The other one had the SAME PROBLEM!!! CD-keys that didn't match. We tried installing this one and the same problem.

If you're having this problem too, they must have f-ed up a whole ton of these things!

we need to tell UBI's support about this garbage. Even worse, when you enter the key that they provide both with dashes and without, when it rejects the code and returns you if you click on "retry" it has a different code entered even though you typed in more letters! It contracts it.

This thing is utter garbage. I want to play the game but this is absurd.

multiplayer will require the code on the back of the manual...

EDITED TO SAY: It worked. The install code is universal...the multiplayer code is the one on the manual it seems
