hey guys, dont really know much about computers or anything but i have just bought brothers in arms . its running really slow, i have lowerd my resoloution and still not much better .
i had this trouble with cod but when i ran it in default mode it worked fine . i cant seem to get this game into default mode .


i ran a test and it says it sould be fine. plz help

First thing I would try is updating both your video and sound card drivers. You can find the video card drivers at http://www.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx . The sound card drivers can be found at the computer manufacturer's or motherboard manufacturer's websites.

Also it could be one or more background processes running that could be causing an issue while the game is running.
You can put your system into a selective startup.
- Open your Start menu and type in the Start Search box at the bottom msconfig.
- It will open a System Configuration Utility. Stay in the General tab and choose the Selective Startup option.
- Then uncheck the Load Startup Items box.
- Now click Apply and Close/Ok and the system will ask you to restart. Allow it to do this.
