Hi all,

I bought Brothers in Arms full of hope to finally play this amazing game but I aynt working. Theres the splash screen and then everything goes black. I can still hear the gamebut the screen is dead black.

I`ve been reading around the forums about the video cards.
Mine is Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family; Im almost positive this is the problem. Can anyone help me out? Do I really have to buy a new video card??? help!

i believe "we_stand_alone" mentioned EIB doesn't work with intel chipset...

Kinda in the same boat, here. I've got a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX series card.

So, am I right in assuming that there is no patch or update that allows the program to run with these cards? I understand it's all fine and well to say "go and buy a new card", but i'd prefer not to spend the extra money if I could help it. Yes. I'm being cheap.

So, is there some sort of fix short of new hardware?

I too have a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX card and bought both Earned in Blood and Road to Hill 30 yesterday but neither work.
All my other games work fine with this card so why not these two?
Is there a patch or anything else i can do as i don't really want to buy a new video card

For the last time guys, no, there is nothing you can do to fix it, other then get a more up to date card.

Intel cards do not work...need to get an add-on card

and MX cards do not work due to them not having the shader? capabilities.

I have the same intel chipset 945Gm, after install the patch i could run the game, but after being playing a while, it just crashes the computer with a tottally blue screen.... it's frustrating, but i hope there is gonna be a solution soon... if somebody knows how i'll appreciate your help, cause i have a laptop and cant update it the video card
