That's your problem, the game needs a video card with shader 3 hardware, and your Radeon 9800 XT only has shader 2 hardware.
You need to buy a newer video card, a Radeon X1600, or a Geforce 6800 should be regarded as the lowest models you should be looking for.

Simple solution witout need to purchase new grafic card (dnk why all tech think they always need new card instead of finidn solution online)

google software called analyze 3d
run analyze 3d and select game exe
in settings of A3D tick buttons
emulate HW TNL caps
emulate pixer shader caps
theese to buttons should be inaff to play game otherwise play some more with settings
Im playing game on Dell laptop woth integrated grafic cards before this i was piling up games cos they didnt work now i play Prince of Persia,Brothers in Arms and all other juicy titles hehe

PS:so called tech guys keep on buying grafic cards

His card, already has hardware TNL, it also has hardware Pixel and Vertex Shaders , presumably your Dell uses an older Intel GMA which has neither.
As far as I know though, 3D-Analyze can't emulate Shader 3 support, which is what BIA HH requires.
