I have been reading through some of the tiopic listed here, like, loads to such and such point and freezes, or things people don't like about the gameplay. I look at these with envy...

I purchased BIA-EIB some time ago (Nov 23 2006, judging by when I registered with Ubi), and havn't yet played it. The system I was trying to run it on just wasn't grunty enough (It is just over 2 years old - what was I thinking trying to run a new game on that???). Mainly the graphics card I think. Oh well, put it on the shelf and wait till I get a better system.

Woohoo, I got a brand new system with uptodate this and bestonthemarket of that. It should run BIA, right??? Well shouldn't it??? It also has Vista, so apparently it doesn't!!!

Tell it to install and all you get is the DVD drive winding up and then about a minute or so later the DVD drive winds down again with nothing happening. AHA, copy the DVD onto the harddrive and load it from there. Well after 30 odd minutes it is finished copying, so run the exe to install, and... nothing.

I am so gutted about this. Alright, try Ubisoftswebsite and ask a question of their techies. Well if I could get to that part of their site, great, but everytime I click on the tab to go there, It tells me I have to login again, and then it tells me there is an error with the something or other and to try again later. I'm really sick of it.

If I don't get some sort of satisfaction from this soon, I will be taking the BIA-EIB DVD with me next time I go clay bird shooting and never purchase anthing of Ubisoft again.

To those with this trouble, I would draw your attention to this thread...

It appears that there is a piece of anti piracy software on BIA-EIB that does not go well with Vista. We await a solution from Ubisoft, but personally I am not holding my breath.

It seems that Ubi has dropped the ball on this one. For the little amount of time it would take to patch this problem, they just don't seem to care that we have bought their game and now can't run it.

I wonder what the ratio is for them? How many people can't copy the game vs how many won't buy their software (any of it) again because this one won't run and they won't do anything about it. I'm definately one of the later!!! And for those who want to copy this piece of S***, they have already found a way around it.

Another owner of useless software thanks to Vista or Ubisoft or both as is most likely.

Put me on the latter list! I figured I would give this a go since it came with my video card ATI 1600XT 512MB GDDR 3 VRAM!

I got a new system, gaming system and the system screams, of course Vista Ultimate is pre-loaded and works fine on everything except this game!

Come on UBI get off your butts and do a patch. Just imagine how many have the same problem and just pull it off and toos it rather than come here and complain about it....
