If you're receiving a general protection fault when starting HH, completely remove your existing video drivers and PhysX...Get the latest drivers for your video card (178.13 for Nvidia) ATI etc.. Then get your hands on the latest PhysX drivers(8.09.04, I believe)..

Reinstall Video driver first- restart, then install latest PhysX drivers...

Worked for me under Vista64, hopefully will work for others....

Thanks alot, this half worked for me.I finally got the game running, but to do it, i went inside a file called redist, then into the physx folder, and double clicked the exe in there. This seems to make the game run, and i'm now going to happily enjoy the gameBig Grin

You should find the option to uninstall your display drivers in your Device Manager. You can also find the option to uninstall display drivers in Add/Remove programs (Vista=Program/Features) in your control panel. You will also find the option to uninstall NVIDIA PhysX in Add/Remove programs as well.
The driver updates for your video card will be at the video card manufacturer's website. The update for the PhysX drivers will be found at http://www.nvidia.com/

If you could post your system specs (i.e. OS, Processor, Video Card) and we can take a closer look.
