I have reinstalled defragged,restarted,shutdown,returned the game,got a new 1,and you name it. For some reason It still is not transfering around 150 files to the game. I used the batch file available dont remember who created it, but it was always the same files. I would expect to buy a game and not have as serious a bug as this? I have been gaming for 10+ years on PC's and have never had a problem like this, where i could not get the game to install and run properly. I am suspecting it has something to do with the CDROM not reading certain files. But why should I need to buy a new DVD drive to get the game to work? It sits collecting dust on top of my computer. The computer is P4 2.4, 512MB Corsair XMS mem 52X cdrom 40GB 7200RPM, 128MB 5600Ultra. Above recommended specs.

When i open my game it start off wif all da makers and then after that the screen is black. i press enter twice and start the loading screen which it stays on and i dont know wat 2 do plz HELP

im geting the same thing open the game get to see the ubi and the greebox screnn than goes to a black screen i have tested the dxdiag and updated drivers uninstaled the game and reinstaled need some help plz

wow i'm glad i'm not the only one, it stays on the loading screen if i get it to load at all after the black screen and i know the game is running, i can hear the tags when i move the mouse over them....we need help! lol

I cant play the game either. However my problem seems to be a little different to yours, but similar to a few others that I have read about concerning lag and sound issues.

The thing is, I can play the demo version perfectly, even at 1600x1200. However the UK retail version stutters so badly, that it is not playable, even with patch 1.11.

This scenario occurs on the exact same PC setup, with a side by side comparision, on the exact same game level. The conclusion that one can only come to, based on this evidence, is that there is most certainly a significant software fault in the retail version.

I agree i believe there is a fault...a large one at that, hell they just need to do a recall, because this is ridiculous i let my brother in law borrow the game until i can figure out what to do....for som reason it worked on his and his comp is worse than mine lol

Ok maddog, what does that tell you? It works on his computer, but not yours. Check his specs. and then check yours, see what he has that you don`t, drivers and all.

i found out it only worked for him for 15 minutes and went bizerk so we tried to take it back and apparently walmart is full of pricks so its just sitting here somewhere taking up desk space and collecting dust.

First off, W_S_A is being helpful, perceiving how he wrote something is completely up to you. He in no way was disrespectful in his comments. Please advise that if someone has an issue with a "cd or dvd" and they try it on another computer and it seems to work then the logical thing to suspect is the pc not the "cd or dvd". Now in this case there still seems to be an issue, so possibly something else is the case, but at that point W_S_A had already posted. So please refraign from calling "moderators
