I guess part of the game problems running on vista is the starfarce garbage drivers if another protection were used during the release of the game instead of this junk the game could run since several starfarce garbage protected games don't run on Vista. Several game developers like CDV (Panzers 1, 2) has released patches to remove this malware protection due to that

This should be an easy fix then eh? Are the developers taking a nap or something. It's frustrating having a game you paid good money for not work because the studio is to lazy to update it!

I don't think they will update it The game has more than 2 years now and companies support for a game releasing patches usually the first year when released and maybe the seocnd but more rare. One of the few companies that have supported it's games for several years is Blizzard and Bioware with the first NWN

It was rare for Farcry got the 1.4 patch even when it's from 2004 and comming from Ubisoft

I think that is **** that they don't continue to release patches. Who cares that it's more than two years old. They're still pressing CD's and & DVD's and selling them in retail so why the hell not continue to support them? This game isn't two years old though. It came out at the end of 2005, Road 30 was at the beginning. How is it fair that someone can still buy these games, the site scans your PC and says it will run only to buy it and it NOT work, the original game works so why not the sequel?

What a rip off. I bought this game last year and it wouldn't run on my computer, as it wasn't grunty enough (It was only a couple of years old). After long and careful thought, I decided to buy a new system a few weeks ago. One of the reasons was to be able to play games that required more grunt from my system. On trying to load this game (EIB) it woldn't even install! Ubisoft are still burning disks and selling them. They should put a warning on the case that they don't run on Vista. I have a similar problem with Tiger Woods 2005, it actually manage to install, but won't even start. Come on Ubisoft, give us something so this thing works. I'm a hard working guy, I work 12 hour shifts, to earn my money. You now have some of that money, so give me something to make it run, othewewise a refund would be great. I'll accept cash or cheque!!!
