I have a Dell, OPTIPLEX GX 280. My display adapter is listed as INtel(R) 829156/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family. After reading the requirements (yes, after I bought it, yell at me if you wish) I believe I am not compatible. Program loaded fine, with NO errors but freezes at Startup (red line). I thought it might have been b/c I was using Digital input on my monitor, so I switched to Analog, same problem.

No other options than to get a new card?

Thanks,

Try updating your drivers first before you do anything else.

Unfortunately, you'll probably have to buy a new graphics card. A lot of the Dell's by default just come with the intel chipset onboard graphics which pretty much can't play any newer game. Some older games they can play somewhat okay though. If you do decide to buy a new graphics card you probably should make sure that you at least have an agp slot or a pci-express X16 graphics slot...because a lot of the midrange and lowend Dell's don't even have a slot to add a graphics card...except regular old pci slots and all the pci cards out there are fairly weak.
