WHY WILL IT NOT LET ME GO ONLINE, IVE SIGNED UP AND EVERY TIME I TRY TO PLAY IT SAYS UNKNOWN ERRO CHECK YOUR CONNECTION AND THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CONNECTION, SO WHAT SHALL I DO ?

Check your personal firewall settings and open up the ports listed in the FAQ.
Otherwise, you may be behind a NAT router? Your opponents need to be able to connect to you on certain ports. If you are behind a broadband router that performs network address tranlation (NAT) you will need to configure it to map incoming connections on its public interface to your internal network address on your PC. See this post: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6291049526/m/5411069515 Another quick way to check would be to try and go online on an ordinary dial-up connection to your ISP. If your firewall is set correctly and you can connect via dial-up, but not on a broadband connection, then it's more than likely a NAT issue. |
