I'm excited for the sequel. Let us just hope that Ubisoft does not publish the game just for the sole purpose of "broadening their library on Wii" so when asked about their "Nintendo-quality games" they could make reference to No More Heroes and Tenchu 4.

In reality, let us take a look at what Ubisoft has brought to Wii since striving for "Nintendo-like quality" shall we?

Brothers in Arms: Double Time
CSI: Hard Evidence
The Dog Island
Emergency Heroes
Hell's Kitchen: The Video Game
Imagine: Champion Rider
Imagine: Party Babyz
Monkey Madness
Nitro Bike
Petz Rescue Wildlife Vet
The Price is Right
Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
Shaun White Snowboarding
Sports Party
Telly Addicts
Totally Spies! Totally Party
Victorious Boxers: Revolution

If three good games could be found in that list then I would gladly buy No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle for everyone on this board...that is unless it has the Ubisoft logo on it. Call it quits, Ubisoft. You do not understand the Wii. Please file Chapter 11 already.

I'm exceptionally pleased that this game is on the way. Coincidentially, I learned about the sequel's existance the day AFTER I completed my first playthrough of the game. FYI, I bought the game on friendly reccomendation (that friend owns said game but has not made it past the rank 10 fight) and shelved it for a while until something made me start playing it...

...and I did...non stop for a whole week.

Then the day after my first completion (yes of course I got the true ending) I hear about the sequel...

I do believe that UBI deserves SOME credit for bringing this game to the US shores. They saw what would become a popular selling game, and they were right in that, the game's sold best here and in Europe, better than it did in Japan.

Had it not been for UBI soft, we might not have gotten this game to our shores at all! So they gave us the choice to play it at their own financial risk. That I can appreciate.

Note to my neighbors, those rumblings you heard earlier was not an earthquake, I now have nuclear power.

You forgot some Ubisoft Wii Titles...
My Fitness Coach
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
The Price is Right
Blazing Angels

and others... (wasn't willing to go past page four) If you want to talk about all nintendo titles there is a much bigger list. If you are going to make a bet on ubisoft, include all of it's titles. Not that it matters since ubisoft is giving No More Heroes to another team to work on, so I've heard, and thus technically the game will not be ubisoft.

Besides, the only gaming programmers that fully understand the Wiis capabilities is Nintendo. Everyone else just "toys" with the minor points of what the Wii can do. So Ubisoft shouldn't give up, they should dive further in to the Wii system and create better games. Or, at least, games that are not only associated with little kids and people concerned with their weight.

i'm extremely excited for the sequel. though it is a bummer that I have to wait a year for it....
It's okay, though. I'm patient.
When the day comes and I get to see my dear Travis again, I doubt I'll be able to keep my wiimote in its case.

Yes, this. Last time I tried to get the game at the Super-Walmart in town, but they didn't carry it -- had to go to the Circuit-City in a nearby town to pick the thing up -- though, then, later Super-Walmart got it, too. So. . .now. . .
