Don't know if anyone was aware, but in addition to the official soundtrack and "Dark Side" remix album, a band called The Outer Rim (which features MGS composer Norihiko Hibino as a member) released their debut album last month featuring English vocal drama from No More Heroes with the original voice actors.

The story takes place centuries after the events in the game and provides an interesting take of what happens to a couple of the characters after the game.

The album also features a live recording of the NMH Main Theme (which was also featured on the "Dark Side" remix album). The rest of the album is a mixture of different styles of jazz.

While the album was previously only available for import, CD Baby is currently stocking the album if you're into jazz or NMH: http://cdbaby.com/cd/outerrim

I wrote a review of the album over at Original Sound Version (www.originalsoundversion.com) if you want to read impressions of the music. I just wanted to let fellow NMH fans know about this project!

Now here's hoping that Suda gets to work on an NMH2 to fill the gap... although it does seem kinda unlikely. Perhaps this is the best we'll get. =/
