Well it looks Ubisoft decided to try and put some more muscle into advertising No More Heroes - the IGN Wii site has been taken over by dominating advertising (just go to the IGN Wii homepage).

quote: lol, I own a PS3 and the fact that you can download demos and see the games for yourself is the reason I haven't bought a single game for the PS3. But that's another story.
Yeah, I really haven't seen any PS3 games that have interested me. 'Course I'm not buying a PS3 anyway, but I mean if I had to choose between buying an XBox 360 or a PS3, I would definately go with Microsoft because they have Beautiful Katamari, Conker Reloaded, Kameo: Elements of Power and Fable 2 is just around the corner. Sony doesn't even have Final Fantasy going for it anymore, since Square Enix decided to start making so many sub-par spin-off titles and take the series in a more real-time direction. Nintendo and Microsoft also have much more to offer in the area of downloadable content, and in a few months you'll be able to download DS game demos from your Wii.

Please stay on topic. To add to that, I will say this. I have never seen a community so devoted to advertising a game for a company. Good job guys! -Rage Forum Addict "Ever ready, ever willing, to protect life and property."----------------------------------------------------- I am not an employee of Ubisoft. All posts are of my own opinion unless otherwise stated.

It seems as though most GameStops only got enough copies of No More Heroes to fulfill the reservations, not anymore. Let's hope that Ubisoft gets out more copies soon (it looks like they achieved being able to sale through much of the day one supply to early buyers of games).

Ubi really needs to get the word out on this game. I picked mine up at Circuit City yesterday(because Gamestop didn't get any in and I was the 10th person they said they turned away that day) and the guy at CC never heard of the game before. Owned a all three consoles, big Nintendo fanboy. Worked in the videogames section. Never heard of it before.
A little TV ad monies will go a long way Ubi. A little Adult Swim. Maybe South Park and/or Futurama. A Superbowl commercial would probably pay off.
PS on the Commercial/Trailer front, one like the Assassins Creed music video you guys are running would come off great. The reviews are through the roof. Same Music. But instead of showing Altaire walking through a beautifully rendered city while the accolades and high scores fade in, show Travis sitting on the couch, playing with his cat, Looking in his mirror, Checking the fridge, and then getting the "no new messages" from his answering machine, Then Quick cut to ingame with ingame music and shoe him him starting the "beam-katana" and slicing someone vertically in half the long way, throw in a couple of wrestling moves and decapitations real fast so you can't even tell what's happening. Then cut back to Travis sitting on the toilet with the Assassins Creed music...
"Save? Yes -- No"
No More Heroes.
