You don't have to, I just want to hire an artist to draw renditions of the characters in my story, and this picture is a test to see who can draw the best, iow, the one who can draw a picture of this Mr. Dark sprite the best, will be hired. (no pay)

i.e. who wants to have a go at using a sprite for inspiration to draw a nice picture for someone

Yeah it's a base off of the Bass.EXE sprites.

that wasn't intended as an insult. i was trying to explain it differently, as people seemed confused.

It's good, but I need something more detailed.

Sorry to say this, but I think this version of Mr. Dark looks a little too much like Bass.EXE But not only because it's made from a Bass.EXE sprite.

Maybe you should replace some Bass details with other more Mr. Dark like details. Like uuuh, remove that disk on his chest and replace it with something else?
