When atrus contacted me from rime he said to go press a button is his room. I can't find this button. Can anyonw help with this part?

Which Myst game are you asking about? I really don't recall Atrus contacting you anywhere in the demo.

Myst 4 is the game I am talking about.

um, maybe this person has the full game already! O_O

if so, next time i'd recommend you put in lots of spoiler warnings, what with the game not being out yet.

AFGNCAAP, I've read several post on other sites regarding Myst Revelation. It seems many have already received their game. I checked Ubi store for order info and my order is listed as shipped 9/24/04 so I should receive it Mon. or Tue.

Grrrr. At least Ubi didn't screw up the pre-orders of this like they did with Uru. Waiting for Friday...

Atrus means the button opening the desk in the bedroom (in the demo this is already open..)
Go to the desk in the bedroom. Open the little box where the instructions are for the fireplace puzzle. one's this cabinet is open push the square underneath it to open the cabinets left and right of it. in these cabinets you'l find the red and blue book also found in the demo

And, yes, Atrus has improved his viewer.

Maybe he got a pirated copy from MIRC, bittorrent, or a p2p network. I'm going to see if It's actually out there. [UPDATE]I was correct it on bittorrent, but I not going to download it because I bough it, and I don't want to ruin the surprize. Please don't arrest me

I've spent probably an hour just staring at the crystal viewer thing. I have turned on the antenna, gotten the crystal combination, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to put the combination into the viewer. How exactly do you insert the combination of crystal colors into the viewer?

<sigh> This place is starting to remind me of the Aura forums. If the game has not been officially released, then maybe a mod should lock this thread for the time being.

Use the panel on the right of the main viewer. Bring up the correct crystal with the slider, then just press the appropriate button in front of all the boxes below the viewscreen. the crystal should appear.

I think a mod should look into this.

who said anything about a pirated game? Only the people that assumed too much. I know nothing of any software piracy. It is not against the rules to talk about the game in here.
