I've been navigating YouTube.com the last few days and have been watching videos from the 80s. So I decided to post the links to some of the videos I've been watching. Feel free to post some of your favorite videos from the 80s here.
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince--Parents Just Don't Understand--still rings kind of true doesn't it? Eighth Wonder--Cross My Heart--the band's lead singer, Patsy Kensit, should look familiar to those who have seen Lethal Weapon 2. that's all I've got for now. Forgot to add that if you have some trivia or comments regarding the videos you post, feel free to put that in as well.
a-ha's Take On Me is one of my favorite music videos from the 80s. I don't know how many times I taped it every time VH-1 would bring it out. I recall hearing that the lead singer of the band dated the female model from the video for a while. Cher's If I Could Turn Back Time was filmed on the USS Missouri, a real life naval battleship which is currently decommissioned and serves as a museum stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The sailors on board the ship are the real crew from that time. Pokemon Diamond Friend Code: 4682-4970-6275 Wii Friend Code: 4443-7625-9283-3123 |

The first video ever aired on MTV when it hit the airwaves in 1981. Heard about it, but never heard the song or saw the video until the 90s. Excellent song and video. Good choice Monkey. OK, turning in for the night. Will be back to check this thread and post more videos. Got some on my favorites list, with more trivia/comments . . . and two from a local boy who briefly made it big on the charts. http://youtube.com/watch?v=qwyW0vRxefM Description on the clip is a bit harsh though. And what would the 80's be without T'Pau http://youtube.com/watch?v=dyUZyin_PPc Duran Duran - Wild Boys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwpZDo4atLs&NR |

Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon
Utter brilliance for its complete cheesiness. We all make choices. But, in the end, our choices make us. |

OK, I'm back for a few minutes.
I mentioned earlier I would be back with a few more videos. Well, this one's a mini block of three videos by the same artist. This artist is a local boy who I mentioned briefly made it big on the charts during the 80s. What I didn't realize was how big. It turns out this artist made it big not only on the US charts, but also on the UK charts, charts in Asia, France, double platinum in Taiwan, Korea, and Spain. Glenn Medeiros was born on the island of Kauai, and at the age of 15, entered a local talent contest, Brown Bags To Stardom. He won the grand prize, $500, and a recording contract to record a single. That single, "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You" was an instant smash hit and earned him a record deal. His complete bio can be found here. So, without further ado, here's Glenn Medeiros with: Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You., Long and Lasting Love, and though it is stretching it a bit since it was released in the 90s, his duet with Bobby Brown, She Ain't Worth It. The following two videos are what I call tribute videos. I actually had three, but I can't think of what the third one was.
ABC--When Smokey Sings--pays tribute to Smokey Robinson. The Commodores--Nightshift--pays tribute to Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson. I'll post the third one (if there's even a third one, oh well) later, but for now, here's another of my favorites from the 80s: The Whispers--Rock Steady Pokemon Diamond Friend Code: 4682-4970-6275 Wii Friend Code: 4443-7625-9283-3123 |

Forgive the double post (hope it doesn't turn to a triple post), but I've got a few more videos to put up, so to speak.
First, the intro from Night Tracks. It was a program that showed music videos on Superstation TBS during the 80s. I chose that one because it leads into the first video I want to put up: George Michael--Monkey from his first solo album, Faith. Before this, he was part of the duo Wham! with Andrew Ridgely. You know, I prefer the 80s George Michael to the one that he is today. He seems to have more energy then than he does now. Billy Ocean--Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car Perhaps one of the longest titles for a music video/song in this thread. Making his first appearance in this thread, this is Howard Jones--Everlasting Love And also making his first appearance in this thread, Michael Jackson--Billie Jean and as an added bonus, Billie Jean (from Motown 25) where he performed the moonwalk for the first time. Will be back with more later. Continue posting your favorite videos from the 80s. Pokemon Diamond Friend Code: 4682-4970-6275 Wii Friend Code: 4443-7625-9283-3123 |

1500videos.com Oh, and just to cover that part too, here's 999 general music hits: 999videos.com Best regards, Kimozabi... |

Good find Kimozabi.
Here's a few more: A-ha--Take on Me--Now I'm posting this one up again, because a week or two ago, I stumbled upon the sequel to Take on Me. A-ha--The Sun Always Shines on TV--they used the same model from Take on Me and this video ended the story line started from Take on Me. BE WARNED--it doesn't end on a happy note, so if you prefer how Take On Me ended, then don't click the link. Don Johnson--Heartbeat--yes, THAT Don Johnson, the one from Miami Vice. He landed a recording contract and came out with an album during the 80s. Eddie Murphy--Party All the Time--Yep, THAT Eddie Murphy, the comedian, also came out with a music album. Tracy Ullman--They Don't Know--Yeah, THAT Tracy Ullman, famous British comic. Watch the ending for a surprise appearance by another famous celebrity. ((Bonus--Just found this one--Tracy Ullman--Breakaway. More to come . . . Pokemon Diamond Friend Code: 4682-4970-6275 Wii Friend Code: 4443-7625-9283-3123 |

You forgot Bruce Willis - Respect Yourself, but I can't find a video for it on YouTube.
Stay On These Roads was a very nice A-Ha song. Then there's Hunting High and Low... A-Ha just made some very listenable stuff. |
