Cheers Jerome! Didn't know why I couldn't remember the obvious heroes!
Well I fancy a new game for my DS as it kinda has NO games whatsoever. Hmm.. I actually would like a little cute game to play. Might actually entertain myself with this: "SPRUNG" Have a break from all the killing and corruption plots and go around cruelly breaking the hearts of young virtual characters!

Yeah, it's happening in London. However the future meets will be considered for other places in the UK. Perhaps Birmingham? Anyone who knows some ideal places who live elsewhere are welcome to PM me.

I woke up at 6am this morning - you know the first thing I thought? After "God, it's 6am!" anyway? I'll tell you! I thought "I must've missed something when I was thinking about that red/blue thing. But what was it? WHAT IS IT?" * lies awake for maybe half an hour with the odd lapse into habit of repeatedly tapping forehead, before passing out and waking up again two hours later*
That's what I meant when I said "Damn it woman see what you've started!" I knew this would happen! But it's OK because then I had pancakes for breakfast. With jam!
Stupid brain!

Sort of a habit, I guess - my sleeping pattern can be a bit... skewed. Hell, I woke up at around 3 this morning! I usually wake up at some point during the night - the time varies, but the waking doesn't. Hence "sort of a habit"! Even with that though, I always get up at about the same time every morning.

Dancing Stage Universe is screaming for me to go stomping all over it. My hands clench with the sight of temptation. A treat for myself for christmas? NO! Must not make excuses!
Want.. waaant.. WANT!

Im lucky.... Mrs Noozles is a great cook and makes amazing pancakes...... In fact, I get home made cranberry and white choc cookies virtually every week....
Oh it's early this year! Ah, I got some stuff in anyway, I'll have some savoury pancakes. I'll have to check if I've anything for sweet pancakes though...
Good effort there Shaz!

I had three pancakes yesterday Rather a low score compared to previous years, but the quality was high! Two Nutella and a Maple Syrup. MMMMMMMMM. Every time Pancake Day comes along I wonder why I don't eat pancakes more often.
What the hell is Pancake Day about anyway? I know it's always the day before Ash Wednesday but why pancakes? Why Shrove? Can you still get Jif lemon juice? I always got that mixed up with Jif... Not to the point where I mistakenly ate household cleaning products though.

Lent being a time of fasting, the day before the start of Lent is the last chance to use up all those rich perishable goods (milk, eggs) in order to avoid them going off during the time you're not allowed to eat them. So, pancakes. Also doughnuts.
From Wikipedia:
quote:
The word shrove is a past tense of the English verb "shrive," which means to obtain absolution for one's sins by confessing and doing penance. Shrove Tuesday gets its name from the shriving (confession) that Anglo-Saxon Christians were expected to receive immediately before Lent.
So there you have it.
We all make choices. But, in the end, our choices make us.
Ooh I just recently watched Final Fantasy Advent Children. Now it's making me go through and listen to the soundtrack and recall memories good and bad from the game. Also feeling that pinch on old wishes when they showed off the FF7 technical demo for Playstation 3.
