Turns out that the end theme for Portal is written by Jonathan Coulton, the "Thing A Week" guy, whose music you should check out if you have not already done so.

Lyrics and chords are here, so all you Jam Session owners can play along. But there are some spoilers so if you haven't finished it yet, don't look.

I looked anyway but have nobody but myself to blame.

Yes, it's not officially out until tomorrow but some people can't wait that long! Online shopping is the way to get round that, isn't it?

Curse you Simes, I'm sorely tempted to click that link! Like a button with the warning "do not press!"

I played quite a bit of this last night and I found it really difficult to make out what the computer was saying most of the time. Not to mention the puzzles... fortunately, I clearly did manage to complete them eventually which felt great! But I had such a hard time getting my head round the idea of momentum

And I know it's a moot point now, but my local Game was stocking it for £44.99 Cool

I finished it! And the end song is fantastic; the second verse is my favourite

It reminded me of Prey as well because of the colours used for the portals

I usually dropped the turrets near the end from a great height...

For those of you who bought the PC version of Orange Box and want a legal way of getting the end credit song (by going through the Steam files on your hard drive) there is a guide on how to do it here:

Portal was excellent! I completed it the moment I got my little mits on it, and loved every minute of it. Unfortunately I'm a bit creeped out by surrealism, and the voice was a tad freaky xD Particularly at the end!

And the 2D version is brilliant for work. Wink

A bit pudgy, though. I guess that comes with mass-producing them, I've seen a better hand-made one, but I guess I can't have everything, it would be less cuddly. ^_^

Portal is a feminist masterpiece!(?)

Here

If the gun, which penetrates, is a mascauline tool, then the portal, which creates a tunnel...
