Dear Moderators,
Can you make some more skins and avatars? I don't really like the colors of the skin. And about avatars, I have to say this and no offense, but they suck like hell! Pleeeaaase make more for download. Not a single avatar fits me. And the "Boy" avatar is just simply terrible. I have no intention of uploading my own pictures for this matter.

Yeah. I agree. The avatars are ugly as sin.

Thankfully we don't have to use them because we can use our own avatars in game. Mine is Darth Vader and I'm happy.

It's not you, but CM10Support is probably who this request is directed to.

CM10Support and Ioan-Really (long time still no see) have supported this forum pretty well since the beginning. They usually make things happen for us users, and since they are listed as moderators at the top of this forum, that's why.

I don't remember you. What's your contribution? Are you the genius who has been deleting posts?

Well, Support doesn't read this forum, does it? Anyway, Support hasn't done anything lately. ESPECIALLY ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEMS THAT STILL EXIST!!!!!!!

There should at least be a way to add custom avatars without replacing the old ones, or if there is a way, can somebody tell me what it is? It doesn't matter in offline play, but in online play a) everyone will see the one you replaced, not your picture, and b) everyone using the avaar you replaced will have your custom picture.

BTW, I have seen a few people with the silhouette avatar used for unknown people, but it isn't one of the choices. Does that mean there is a way to not chose an avatar?

You can add your Avatar just by adding next number e.g.:
....
30=Little Red
31=Sherlock
32=Fat Cheeks
33=Oliver
34=Carl
35=MyAvatar
in the "Avatars.ini" and putting the image to that directory, I dub if there is a way to make it visible online unless others have your custom image added to their list under the same number. When they don't have your image they will probably see silhouette.

Sigh... Almost a month has passed... not even one new skin... Sigh...

I created a Green version of the Expert skin. Download the zip file, Expert Green skin, into the directory, "\Program Files\Ubisoft\Chessmaster 10th Edition\Data\Skin" and unzip it there.

If all goes well, start CM10 and change the skin to "ExpertGreen".

I changed just about all of the images. I used Paint Shop Pro 8 to colorize the images from blue to green, being careful not to change any part of an image that might relate to window events, such as mouse-overs which indicate selection by changing the image to one with color in it, or like radio buttons which use a different image to indicate selection.

There are also some INI and CONF text files, within the sub-directories, that contain HTML RGB color definitions for various parts of the Chessmaster gui. I changed only the blue color definitions to green.

It's much eaiser to colorize the images than to create a new skin with it's own theme. At least the program recognizes new skins, when added, without any extra modification; thats a good thing!

I also created an Expert Green Wallpaper set and a 2D green chessboard. Download the zipfile into the drive CM10 is installed on and unzip it.

Did you color each image individually, or is there a way to do a bunch at once? I started trying to make a skin by inverting the colors of the casual skin, but seeing as there are hundreds of images to color... If you had to do it that way too, that's amazing , but you need to get a life .

Here is a replacement Avatar Folder with some interesting pcs such as Master Yoda, Teddy Borg, Einstein and some Robert Crumb characters... Hmm Just edited this, can someone tell me how to join an attachment?
