I am guessing here but I would assume it was a move to weaken your playing somehow.

Is this what you are talking about ebutaljib?
3 W : f1 c4 30 -9 3 B : g8 f6 -8 -9 |

When you print you get those numbers along side the moves.

Thank you for your reply.
At least now I know nothing is wrong. I do have the program working finding a forced mate for a puzzle I found on the Internet. I have the hash table set to Max 256 MB and running on an Intel core two processor 6700 overclocked to 3 GHz, it's been running for over 41 hours and the ply depth is 16 / 22 and it does not look like it's even close to finding a mate yet. Hey if anyone out there has a faster machine or a different program, give it a try and let me know what you come up with. Thank you again Harry_1B4 [FEN "8/8/4r3/2k3P1/8/3R4/3K1N2/8 w - - 0 1"] |

So then what are the numbers when you print.
