Why does Chessmaster X show negative numbers in the position's column?

I am guessing here but I would assume it was a move to weaken your playing somehow.

When you print you get those numbers along side the moves.

Thank you for your reply.
At least now I know nothing is wrong.
I do have the program working finding a forced mate for a puzzle I found on the Internet.
I have the hash table set to Max 256 MB and running on an Intel core two processor 6700 overclocked to 3 GHz, it's been running for over 41 hours and the ply depth is 16 / 22 and it does not look like it's even close to finding a mate yet.
Hey if anyone out there has a faster machine or a different program, give it a try and let me know what you come up with.
