Could you please be more descriptive? "Blinking out" isn't very helpful... First... make sure you have all the patches installed. You can find them in the Chessmaster 10th Edition Downloads. For help with installing patches, please read the Chessmaster 10th Edition FAQ. To see what version you have, Go to the Help menu, and select 'About Chessmaster 10th Edition'... you'll see the version number on the bottom right-hand corner of the form. The latest version is 1.0.3. Hope this helps

Did you rememeber to read the Chessmaster 10th Edition FAQ about installing the patches? The error you're receiving means that you're trying to load the wrong patch for your version of Chessmaster. There are three different versions (US, UK, and French) of the patches... if the US versions don't work, then try the UK versions. If they don't work, try the French versions.
